Club guidelines

WELCOME

Our committee would like to extend a warm welcome to the parents and children joining the Ormiston College Swimming Club for the 2009 - 2010 swimming season.

This booklet is a brief introduction to some of the procedures and activities, which occur during the season. We are always happy to listen to suggestions and ideas from parents and swimmers.

We publish a newsletter once a month, so please ensure you receive your copy. A list of our sponsors will be published in these newsletters. The survival of the club depends on our sponsors, so please support them when the opportunity arises.

CLUB MISSION STATEMENT

To provide swimmers with an opportunity to participate in a friendly and caring environment with emphasis on good sportsmanship.

The club’s constitution conforms to the rules and regulations of the Federation Internationalde Natation Amateur (FINA) and all other appropriate regulatory bodies including the Queensland Swimming Association and the Brisbane Swimming Association.
