Code of behaviour

All swimming members and parents representing Ormiston College Swimming Club are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that will bring credit to the club.

This includes:

• Courtesy to officials and other swimmers
• Friendliness to participants from other clubs
• No offensive or insulting remarks
• Demonstrate good sportsmanship and encouragement to fellow swimmers
• Do not argue with Officials
• Bad language will not be tolerated.

Parents and swimmers must at all times obey the instructions of Club Officials. Willful or persistent disobedience of official’s instructions, misconduct or inappropriate behaviour will result in the suspension of that Parent/Swimmer by senior officials at that event.

A suspended Parent/Swimmer may be summoned before the committee to show cause why their membership should not be terminated.
